Two weeks before
Finalise the item list, packing responsibilities, labels, key collection, lift reservations and any contractor interfaces. Separate documents and essentials that must not enter the removal vehicle.
Move day
One authorised contact should be available at each address. Walkthroughs record the agreed starting condition, last-minute exclusions and destination priorities.
After delivery
Check high-priority items and report visible transit concerns promptly under the agreed process. Retain inventories and service documents until the move is fully closed.
Weather and traffic
Schedules include reasonable planning, but German road conditions, building delays and severe weather can affect arrival and completion times.
